چکیده
Purpose This study aims to investigate the perceived benefits arising from tourist activities at natural disaster sites, analyze influence of on satisfaction and behavioral intentions identify origin region’s moderating role. Design/methodology/approach A research model containing dark tourism motivations (DTMs), (TPBs), (TS), protection intention (PI) loyalty (LIs) was developed, visitor introduced as a variable. Taking 5·12 Wenchuan Earthquake Memorial Museum case site, data were obtained by distributing questionnaires on-site, tested using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Findings DTMs had significant effect cognitive affective benefits, TPBs significantly affected TS, PI LIs, with playing mediating The origins tourists showed role in part relationship benefits. Visiting All Sites with Your Dog
Given a polygonal curve P , a pointset S, and an ε > 0, we study the problem of finding a polygonal curve Q whose vertices are from S and has a Fréchet distance less or equal to ε to curve P . In this problem, Q must visit every point in S and we are allowed to reuse points of pointset in building Q. First, we show that this problem in NP-Complete. Then, we present a polynomial time algorithm f...
متن کاملNatural Disaster Tourism as a Type of Dark Tourism
This theoretical paper combines the academic discourse regarding a specific part of dark tourism. Based on the literature analysis, distinction of natural disasters in thanatourism was investigated, which is connected with dynamic geographical conditions. Natural disasters used to play an important role in social life by their appearance in myths and religions. Nowadays, tourists pursuing natur...
متن کاملLearning Transformational Invariants from Natural Movies
We describe a hierarchical, probabilistic model that learns to extract complex motion from movies of the natural environment. The model consists of two hidden layers: the first layer produces a sparse representation of the image that is expressed in terms of local amplitude and phase variables. The second layer learns the higher-order structure among the time-varying phase variables. After trai...
متن کاملTransformational Change in Environmental and Natural Resource Management
It is widely agreed the Anthropocene has seen an unprecedented decline in the natural resources conditions that have underpinned the economic growth of the last few hundred years. As communities, we have not responded to Boulding’s vision of ‘the coming space ship earth’ although not for want of much official and private effort. As ‘wicked problems’ the impacts have been often ignored or off lo...
